When I acquired the general practice back in 2003 the archive was overflowing with specialist letters and there was no room to expand the archive. The medical information from before 2000 was archived in folders and it was extremely time consuming to search for needed information, an unworkable situation. In 2005, after a tip from a colleague, we started storing digital documents and scanning all correspondence into RetSoft with a document scanner. Because of the OCR and Indexing of RetSoft I can access all information about a patient during consultation hours within seconds. RetSoft makes this very easy and very user-friendly. Nowadays I can even open the patient information system next to RetSoft, allowing me to have access to all information at the same time.

 

When I’m experiencing technical problems the Support Team is always willing to help and pleasantly experienced in resolving my issues. Even when I made the transition to the Expert version they advised me to choose the best and most cost effective solution for my situation.
